The site is designed for mobile, tablet and desktop screens, with readable article widths, labelled controls, visible keyboard focus and a skip link. Browser text enlargement is supported.
Maps, diagrams and images
Photographs have text descriptions and captions. The Thor map has an equivalent station directory, and explanatory diagrams contain readable text. Information does not depend on hover alone.
JavaScript and motion
The historical text, navigation and source links remain available without JavaScript. Search and filters need JavaScript. Reduced-motion preferences are respected.
Verification
Accessibility testing is part of development. Automated checks cannot establish that every experience works for every reader; this statement describes the intended design rather than claiming independent certification.
